Introduction

Thank you for visiting us. We are a group of Bible-believing Christians and our mission is to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with those who are seeking God.

We strive to be the "hands and feet" of the church to the community. South Asia Mission (SAM) is dedicated to helping the community through community development, medical clinics, free surgeries, cottage industry development, empowerment of women, children's homes and childhood development.

Our mission is to fulfill the commandment of Jesus to love God and to love our neighbor. Despite our desire to help in as many areas as possible, SAM's major focus will be on:

childhood development and education (primary school support and adult education)
community development, adult education and women's empowerment programs
medical clinics, preventive medicine and corrective surgery (CARE Medical Trust)
native missions and pastoral support

ACTIVITIES

Short Term Mission Trips:

Dr Tung, Rev and Mrs Kung of Toronto and Cynthia Chan of Hong Kong - Feb 2011 (see photos)

Mr Thomas Varghese of Edmonton went to India June 1-8, 2011 and did a Teacher's Training Seminar (see photos).

Mr and Mrs Reagan Rippy of North Carolina went to India in 2-13 August 2011 and set up the Open Door Girls Home (see photos)

Fuller Life Boy's Home was officially dedicated and opened on 12th June 2011.

Open Door Girl's Home opened in September 1st, 2011

Next Short Term Mission Trip is in the summer of 2012.
