In order to uplift the people in the area, the ICM church used a $3500 USD grant from the Anglican Orthodox Church (AOC) to start the Vision Computer School in 2010. A part-time teacher has been hired to teach useful applications (such as Photoshop), as this enables the graduates to set up their own business or be employed in photo studios.
On February 17, 2011, a group of 20 graduates received their certificates from Bishop John, Dr. Raj, and several other short-term mission trip members from Toronto.
We welcome donations of new computers and other resources. All these students are usually from families below the poverty line, as indicated by their government-issued ID cards.
